I’m Joanne Pelaschier and this is First Order Consulting.

I offer individual consulting for engineers, technical people, and folks who have working or personal relationships with them. I specialize in cross cultural communication between neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals. Life can be less stressful, more rewarding, and more connected. With self-understanding, skill building, and practice, we can reinvent what is possible.

I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work with you remotely wherever you may be.

How does it work?

I share with you what I learned from my own experience. We build our skills together and we practice to strengthen our abilities. We start with radical acceptance: these are the circumstances we find ourselves in. We then work on building an open mindset and finding our agency. We continue our practice, always moving forward and we celebrate our wins.

We look into current research and peer reported data around neurodivergence and neurotypicality. We get an understanding of how we work and how others may work differently. Then we work to build support and understanding for successful cross cultural communication.
